A Zigbee egy vezeték nélküli technológia, melyet az alacsony költségű kis teljesítményű IoT hálózati igények hoztak létre. A Zigbee szabvány az IEEE 802.15.4 fizikai radio-kommunikáció szabványra épül és a hagyományos "szabad" rádiófrekvenciákat használja: 900Mhz, 2,4Ghz, 868 Mhz. ZigBee is a specification based on the IEEE 802.15.4 standard for wireless personal area networks (WPANs). ZigBee operates in the ISM radio bands and its focus is to define a general-purpose, inexpensive, self-organizing, mesh network that can be used for industrial control, embedded sensing, medical data collection, smoke and intruder warning, building automation, home automation, and domotics, etc.

A ZigBee a master-slave kommunikációs technikát használja, kis méretü adat-csomagokkal. Egyetlen passzív csillag-topológiájú hálózatban 254 eszköz lehet. ZigBee uses a basic master-slave configuration that is suited to the static star networks of many infrequently used devices that talk via small data packets. Up to 254 nodes are allowed.

WLAN Wireless Solutions

A wireless modem is a type of radio converter that is able to convert information that exists on a wired network, such as one connected using an RS-232 or RS-485 interface, etc., to a wireless network. The wireless modem is designed for data acquisition and control applications between a host and any remote sensors that are connected to the network. It is also useful for those applications where it is inconvenient or impractical to install physical cable wire. Not only can a wireless modem be used in peer-to-peer mode, it can also be used in a multi-point structure.

In response to the Internet of Things, big data analysis, industry 4.0, energy-saving and carbon-reduction requirements, ICPDAS has developed the "Industrial Wireless Sensor Network" solution. In addition to integrating current, temperature measurement and wireless transmission functions into one module, the ultra-low power consumption can be matched with a current comparator (hereinafter refer to CT) for inductive charging, it can meet the supply and demand balance of working power and achieve continuous uninterrupted measurement equipment parameters with sufficient power. The setting can be completed by dip switch, which not only doesn't affect the production process, but also greatly saves system construction time and reduces maintenance costs. To meet the needs of monitoring equipment power consumption, predictive maintenance and power panel temperature monitoring, it's helpful to maintain the production line equipment and avoid accidents caused by aging of power panel equipment and cables.
